On December 18, 2021, tMonitor was honored to be the only product to receive the Smart City Award 2021 in the category of Smart Environmental Solutions.
Vietnam Smart City Award 2021 (Vietnam Smart City Award 2021) is an annual award organized by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) since 2020 to recognize, honor and encourage businesses, organizations and units which have been making contributions to helping cities become smarter, more livable, branded, competitive and sustainable.
In the award ceremony held on the morning of December 18, tMonitor - Smart Air Monitoring Solution - was named as the winner in the category of Smart Environmental Solutions.
tMonitor is a total AIoT solution including hardware and software platform to collect, monitor and analyze air quality, turn "invisible" into "visible", measure and quantify pollution before prevent it. Based on AI data analysis, tMonitor provides appropriate emergency response just-in-time when any incidents or crises happen.
The difference of tMonitor compared to other solutions is that it manufactures its own hardware in Vietnam, integrates artificial intelligence to provide analysis and prediction of air quality. In addition, tMonitor can automatically calibrate the accuracy of the air sensors, has a built-in crisis management system, and is able to combine with other management systems.
Focusing on solving the problem of air pollution, which has been and is a global problem, Mr. Nam Vu, CEO of tMonitor shared: “There is an undeniable fact that there is always a gap between research and practice. Many results in applied research cannot or cannot yet be brought to life. Therefore, as a startup, we want to contribute to solving a specific problem of society, creating an impact on the community.”. In addition, the Vietnam Smart City Award 2021 also recognizes the diversity of services and technological solutions developed to solve the problems of modern cities in most fields. There are 36 Awards for technology solutions in 17 different categories from Government, Transport, Environment to Health, Agriculture, Real Estate, Tourism, and more.
According to the representative of the jury, this shows that Vietnamese technology enterprises are not only perfect in terms of technology level and professional level, but also are making great efforts to join hands with cities to solve problems. all existing problems in order to soon build a smart livable environment throughout Vietnam.
